RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

Our Shop has developed its Website in such a way that every Purchaser has the possibility to form as complete an image as possible about the products, so that there is no doubt about their characteristics. Nevertheless, in the event that a Purchaser wishes to return the product we sent to him, this is possible if the following conditions are met:

i. Return of defective products

Our Shop is a reseller of products and as a reseller we are not personally liable for any product defects. Many of our products are handmade which makes them unique. This means that there may be slight differences between the same products and the product you will receive, compared to the image shown on the website.

Our Shop checks every product before sending it so that it does not have obvious defects. In the event, however, that the product proves to be defective upon receipt, the following product return policy shall be observed: In order for this return policy, for defective products, to apply, the Purchaser must inform the Shop within five (5) calendar days of receiving the product by e-mail to the email address info@marejewellery.gr, describing the defect of the product and if possible, attaching photographic material. After contacting our Shop, the Purchaser must have returned the product within a reasonable time, which should not exceed fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt, in its complete original packaging and with all documents that accompanied the product. If it is a defect discovered later after delivery and the packaging is not present, packaging of the product is not required. Upon receipt of the product, our Shop will check for the defect reported by the Purchaser and then contact the Purchaser either to confirm the defect or to inform them that there is no defect.

If the defect is confirmed, our Shop will arrange for the replacement or repair of the product. In case the product is provided with a guarantee and on the condition that the return is made within the limits of the above guarantee, our Shop will refer you to its supplier or importer, in order for him to undertake its repair.

In the event that it is not possible to repair it and no other product of similar characteristics or equivalent value can be found for replacement, the money paid will be returned to the Purchaser. In case of cancellation of the transaction, the refund of the initial purchase is made in the same way as the initial payment of the Purchaser to the Shop.

In particular, in the event of a charge via credit card, the Shop will be obliged to inform the issuing Bank of the cancellation of the transaction and the Bank will then proceed with every act provided for in the contract it has drawn up with the Purchaser, without any further liability of the Shop. Following this information, the Shop does not bear any responsibility for the time and method of execution of the offsetting, which is regulated by the Bank's procedures. In case of cash on delivery, the amount of the refund will be credited to a bank account that the Purchaser will indicate in writing by electronic mail (e-mail) to the electronic address info@marejewellery.gr.

In any case, the Purchaser should be aware that as long as it is possible to correct the defect or replace the defective product, it is not possible to refund the price.

In case of returning a defective product, the Purchaser will not be charged with the shipping costs if he chooses a) the courier with which the Shop cooperates, b) the most economical shipping option, c) the shipment is made within Greece and d) it is the first return of the specified product.

In the event that the product is returned damaged ordeficient, or in the event that the Purchaser attempts to repair the product without first notifying our Shop of the defect and then returns the product reworked, or in the event that the product's condition has deteriorated and become even more defective due to the Purchaser's manipulations, then our Shop is entitled to request compensation from the Purchaser, the amount of which will be determined by the condition of the product, as well as to proceed unilaterally and without others to a total or partial offset of its claim against of the Purchaser with the price he pays.

After the end of the period of fourteen (14) calendar days or the warranty of the products, the repair or replacement of the products is possible only after a new agreement and with an additional charge borne by the Purchaser. ii. Return of non-defective products – Purchaser's right of withdrawal without reason

In the case of returning non-defective products, our Shop does not offer a refund. Upon returning a product, it is possible to exchange it for another product of similar value or receive the amount as a credit for a subsequent purchase, which must be made within thirty (30) calendar days. If it is not used within this period, the credit ceases to be valid.

The Purchaser has the right to withdraw without reason, under the following conditions:

- The right of withdrawal is exercised by the Purchaser in writing or electronically by notifying the Shop within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the product or the last product in case of purchase of several products with the same order and only for the products that have been sent to him. This does not involve what the Purchaser buys through our physical shop.

– The product must be returned to the Shop within fourteen (14) days of the aforementioned notification to the Shop of the withdrawal statement and be in the exact condition that the Purchaser received it, completely unused, in its packaging and, in the event that the Purchaser received it sealed, unopened. The cost of shipping the returned product is borne solely by the Purchaser.

– The Purchaser is responsible for any possible reduction in the value of the product as a result of its own use or its handling in a way other than that which is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function.

– In the event that a product is returned used, processed by the Purchaser, damaged or defecient, the Shop has the right to request compensation from the Purchaser, the amount of which will be determined by the condition of the products and to proceed unilaterally and without others in total or partial offset of its claim against the Purchaser.

– In the event that the Purchaser, during the procurement of the products, requested personalized modifications to them (such as, indicatively, and not limited to engraving a monogram, processing, etc.) he will not be able to exercise the right of unnecessary withdrawal.

iii. Return process

The Purchaser sends a parcel, packed so that it is safe during transport, through the courier agency from which he received his order which must include the product in its complete packaging, with all the documents that accompanied it when it was sent. In case the product does not meet the aforementioned conditions, it will be returned to the Purchaser at his expense.
